We're lucky today that most email services have spam filters although some still slips through. Back in the days, spam will occupy your e-mail's inbox together with important messages that you need to read. There no search and filtering capabilities back then so you have to delete spam mails one by one manually. This is pretty annoying and time consuming prompting you to curse those who spam. While I'm not entirely happy that the government inspector frowned upon the use of fresh strawberries (they're used in peoples homes right?), I'm all in favor of health regulations coming into play when something I eat wasn't made in front of me. My experience's watching other vendors at farmer's markets cut corners when making their edible products were enough to make me gag. One time I even called the health inspector after something I saw.
