Cigarettes With FSC Make Me Sick!

I'm a smoker. Yeah I know, gross! Anyhow, I have been smoking for several years now. I have been wanting to quit smoking for the longest time and can't ever seem to be able to kick the habit! Well now I think I found a way for me to toss out smoking forever.

The help to quit smoking wasn't really a choice at all for me. The government helped me with this choice. One day I bought a pack of cigarettes, opened them and started smoking one. For some reason the cigarette just wasn't the same as I'm used to! I threw out the cigarette, lit another from the same pack, still the same nasty taste.

I figured maybe it was just a bad pack so I threw them out and went and bought another. Same damn thing! These cigarettes give me the worst headache! Someone told me that the government passed a law that cigarette companies have to put something called FSC in the cigarettes that get distributed to Pennsylvania.

Why just Pennsylvania? I don't know if this is in any other state but I know they aren't in Ohio. I drive an hour away to Ohio every week to get my smokes! I get so frustrated by the fact that these cigarettes are supposed to be "better" but they make me so sick!

 

I know NY has had FSC cigarettes since 2004, but around Jan of 2009 I noticed a taste difference in my Marlboro cigarettes. I feel very sick after I smoke now like I have been poisoned. I can't eat and vomit sometimes after smoking. I can't even begin to explain how awful I feel. I did a search on google and many people who are smoking the FSC cigarettes that started in Jan. 09 in other states say they feel sick as well. Fast heart rate, high blood presure, vomiting and feel very sick. Some have gone to the ER.

I use to smoke a pack and a half a day and now I am down to 5-8 cigarettes a day because they make me so sick, yet it is so hard to stop, but I am trying. I don't know why I am having such a violent reaction to cigarettes now.

Is anyone else out there having problems with your cigarettes since Jan. 09? Are you sick as well? What the hell is in the cigarettes now??

The objective is that way you'll STOP SMOKING... before they make you really sick and put a financial burden on everyone else to pay for your life as a moron.

It's not the Government's right to pass laws such as this. True, it is about the money, and yes medicaid and medicare are paying out a fortune in our dollars to smoke related illness. I feel there should not be a Medicare or Medicaid, except for the physically and mentally disabled. However, I feel it's a horrible thing to have the Government who is a very insuficient entity, involved in our habits. It's none of their business period. I hope I live to see the day when we over throw our government and get these dorks who we elect every year out of our personal lives. If I wanted communism I would simply move to China. Has anyone visited the post office lately? What a joke. I am however glad that people are FINALLY realizing what a BAD idea big government really is. Less than 250 years ago OUR ancestors revolted against their Government because they knew there had to be a better way. I really feel sorry for G. Washington, Adams, B. Franklin ect, because we've completely turned around everything they've died for and made it worse than what they died for. OMG I am in Florida and i STRONGLY suspected there was a chemical change in the cigarettes. First I became dizzy & nauseated, then hallucinations while driving, then very weak. When I quit smoking it took about 8 days for all the poison to get out of my body where I could stand up again and not feel so sick. It seems like a really strong pesticide or something. Definately a poison like feeling. I went to the ER about 7 times and I would always get better after about 8 hours so they could never pinpoint the problem. Guess my liver filtered it. I even went to Mayo Clinic and suggested that the chemicals must have changed in cigarettes but they said no!!!! I know they changed something in them. I had switched brands and had the same problems. Very interesting. I know they changed something... So now I am a NON-smoker, cold turkey!

I live in Indiana and we have the FSC Cigs and they suck. They also make me dizzy everytime I smoke one. I even work at a tobacco store and they said the taste would no change but they did cause if you let it go out and have to relight it it is the most nasty tasting thing around you would think the cig companys wouldn't of agreed to do this their only hurting theirselves. We have so many people now rolling their own cause they cant handle the FSC plus on the FSC the hot always falls off so how can it be safer. Wake up cig companys if it hasn't passed in state don't let it.

I just noticed a couple days ago that my Newport cigarettes were making me sick. I gag a few times per cigarette. It's bull does anyone know a cigarette brand that the government hasn't dropped fsc into yet?

You are all quite right the cigarettes are very lethal now. Phenol is the cause of the poisoning, it is due to the heavier coal tar oil in the newer cigarettes. Let me explain, as the cigarette begins to extinguish the coal tar begins to resinate on the thicker paper, so you get twice as much coal tar oil in your mouth throat and lungs as before. Phenol derives from heavy coal tar oil, it causes a disease called coal miners disease or black lung more popularly. You see as the Phenol builds in your lungs it actually rots your lungs very quikly causing more phenol etc.etc. This phenol reaction has been documented and will probably kill people before the government does anything about it.

As for the idiot that posted the government wants to make people sick because they are a burden, it would most likely be the opposite since the newer cigs make you twice as sick twice as fast as the old ones, therefore the government is hoping for twice the burden ( big business in medicine these days. Please spread the word about this phenol poisoning to as many people that smoke as you can. By my estimation the smoke and second hand smoke could kill as many as 217 million worldwide, and will probably be blamed on h1n1, as small children and pregnant women and the elderly are more easily harmed by the second hand smoke. here is some info i found about the new poison in the cigs.

Inhalation:

Ingestion:

4. First Aid Measures

Inhalation:

If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Give large quantities of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical attention immediately.

Skin Contact:

Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.

Eye Contact:

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Get medical attention immediately.

I use to smoke 2 packs a day of the evil tobacco cigarette, now I just vape with electronic cigarettes. We should all stop supporting big tobacco and all the other organizations that have their dirty little hands in the profits of cigarettes.

E cigs are so close to the real sensation of smoking without all the lethal chemicals. And if fun to try all the great flavors from Black Cherry to Mint to Vanilla, and your regular flavor brands too like Menthol E juice, Marlboro E juice, Camel E juice, you can get them from low nicotine to high. I've been vaping for over 5 months now and just love it better than I loved tobacco cigarettes.

It is a fact that cigarette smoking is injurious to health but if you go with reputed brand like Marlboro then the harm is less as compared to harm which other cheap and harmful cigarettes can do. Phenol is merely, (Any of a class organic compounds that contain a hydroxyl group (HO) attached to a carbon atom that is part of an aromatic ring) DO THE RESEARCH! What is Sodium Silicate? Also known as liquid glass or water glass, it is the common name for Sodium Metasilicate, Na2SiOre3 available in aqueous solution and solid form used in cements, passive fire protection, refractories, textile and lumber processing and automobiles, but most of all, it was used by our government in there CAR'S program to destroy thousands of perfectly good large automobile engines. All they did was add a quart or two of Sodium Silicate to the engines, then run them a few minutes and it would lock the engines, coating the engines bearings and pistons with itself, seizing them up and rendering them totally useless, for ever! Do the research Fred. And to the other guy that says there putting something on the papers as a fire retardant, that is also not true, they are mixing it with the tobacco. What non-smokers do not seem to get about FSC is that the addiction is still there. So the smoking is still going to happen for about 90 percent of people and meanwhile, these smokers are WAY sicker physically than they ever were. Of course people would still feel the ramifications of smoking but you don't get a FSC without getting a buncha ty chemicals on your smokething. In summary, I am ing gagging at my cigarettes now but my body still wants cigarette. Result? A less productive, more pissed off person who can't afford patches or nicotine gum and can't afford to smoke these ty ass cigarettes.
