Is it horrifying that someone would allow an 8 year old to fire an Uzi

I read in the newspaper today that an 8 year old boy DIED after accidentally shooting himself in the head while shooting an Uzi submachine gun at a gun fair in Massachusetts!

Come on people, am I the only one who thinks it is criminally insane to expect an 8 year old child to be able to control the kickback of a weapon like a submachine gun? I mean, if it was a weapon that was a single shot, at least if it flew up in the air, it would have been less of a danger to the person holding it or surrounding them.

School bus safety and courtesy should go both ways!

I read in the paper that Franklin State Police will conduct bus safety patrols as part of "Operation Safe Stop".

They are trying to target people who improperly pass school buses and are otherwise just practicing bad safety regarding school buses.
