I can't stand it when I work with irresponsible people come in late to work. This morning I came in to work at my normal time. About 30 minutes after I was there my coworker still didn't show up. So I am stuck doing my work and his work just to get things done and keep the boss happy. I have a hard enough time doing my own work let alone work for someone else. I tried calling his phone to see if maybe he slept in. No answer. So like 2 hours later he calls in and says he slept through the alarm clock.
So I thought, whatever, he will be here soon. Not the case. It took him another hour and a half to get ready and drive the 5 minute commute to work. So half the day is gone and I've already done half his work and am behind in mine.
Another thing that has to do with that is he leaves early quite often. When he leaves early that means all the work isn't done and I have to pick up his slack to finish the day out. I just get so aggravated that some people don't care about what they do. They don't stop and think that them slacking is making someone else work harder. Or maybe they do think about but don't care.
