Over the weekend my boyfriend took me to Red Lobster for Valentine's Day. We had all kinds of things to do during the day before we went to eat, so we called to see if we could make a reservation. The person on the phone told me we couldn't make reservations. So we went along with our day. Well by time we got to Red Lobster it was probably around 9:30. The parking lot was packed! People were parking up in the grass on the hill.
We went in and asked how long the wait would be. They told me it would be at least an hour and 45 minutes! Damn, that's crazy, but we will wait. During the 2 hours we were there waiting, at least 3 couples came in an gave the hostess their name. They said they had reserved tables! I couldn't believe it! Either you do take reservations, or you don't! These people didn't even have to wait. They came straight in and got a table! UGH!
When the people came in they were talking to the hostess and the workers like they knew them. I think they just let them go because they were friends or something. That really got me fired up. I didn't make a big deal out of it because I didn't want to ruin the night out with my boyfriend.
